What to Expect
HOW DO YOU HANDLE VISITORS?
We want everyone to feel welcome when they come to The Bridge. You will not be asked to identify yourself in any way shape or form as a guest at The Bridge. Our Sunday services are our gift to you. We also welome you to say hello to Pastor Dan at guest services following the service--he's a nice guy and would love to meet you.
At The Bridge, you will find a comfortable mix of clothing. It is not uncommon to find people dressed in an array of styles from suits and dresses to jeans and collared shirts.
WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO YOU HAVE?
Here at The Bridge we have a talented team of musicians and technicians who provide live, contemporary Christian music.
DO YOU ALLOW CHILDREN IN THE SERVICE?
Of course! We welcome all ages in our services. Once your children feel comfortable at our church, we encourage them to attend our age-specific classes.
WHO IS TAKING CARE OF MY CHILDREN?
All of our children's ministry staff are fellow parents who have a love for Christ and for children. It is their pleasure to serve the church by giving of their time to take care of the children. In addition, we have created safeguards, policies, and procedures to help create the safest environment possible for your children.
WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
We understand that our parking space is limited at The Bridge. We do, however, have a great relationship with the town of Malverne. Directly across the street (next to the funeral home) there is a municipal parking lot that we have been allowed to use as overflow during our service times. We also have parking available directly on Norwood Avenue.
CAN THE CHURCH ACCOMODATE PEOPLE WITH PHYSICAL CHALLENGES?
We try in every way. There are parking spaces on held on Norwood Avenue for people with disabilities and we also have a chair lift to help those who need it get to all necessary floors.
